The other day I was fortunate to get my freshly sanitized hands the “Eye Heart Tarte” set! This is an Ulta exclusive. The set includes an Amazonian Clay eyeshadow quad, full sized Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear eyeliner, Lights, Camera, Lashes Waterproof 12hr Inner Rim Liner and a deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. The inner rim liner is a new product that I am super stoked to see come on the market. *Fingers crossed it becomes permanent*

Honestly, if you’ve ever used the Hourglass 1.5 mm Obsidian eyeliner, this is it’s only true competition on the market. That one has staying power and it glides on effortlessly. However, the Tarte liner does not move at all, it’s blacker, glides on full color in one stroke and it doesn’t have any parabens. In this set, you get a full sized mechanical pencil. This is nothing like the Tarte emphasEYES inner rim pencil. The texture is very creamy and applies like butter. Cruelty free butter of course.

The precision long wear eyeliner is perfect for doing a winged liner or just to do a tight line on the upper eyelid. Super pigmented and never streaky. This isn’t made for the inner rim as it is a liquid formulation and more like a very fine “marker”. This liner currently retails for $20! You get it in this set…It’s full sized. Like, why aren’t you at Ulta right now buying this entire set?

The Amazonian clay eyeshadow quad is beautiful. The colors are fully pigmented, rich in texture and not too powdery.

Ivory Little Thing
It’s a rich warm ivory color, this would be your highlight color, a bit powdery but has great color payoff when used with my true love, Tarte CC Primer
Heart of Gold
More of a rich-medium champagne gold in the package, but when applied it is a super shiny beautiful white gold bubbly champagne color. Gloriously textured.
On Copper The World
Richly pigmented deep copper with a slight burgundy tint. Great, solid shimmer. Color goes on solid and creamy.
Love Runs Deep
This is my favorite. Super dark, brooding brown that has a brilliant texture and color payoff. The color translates on the so skin very warm and cool at the same time. Is that even possible? Maybe we can just call it neutral like a normal person. I can’t make anything easy.

Then there is the Holy Grail of mascaras, Lights, Camera, Lashes! Jet black, smooth, NEVER EVER clumpy, rich in texture, never flakes off and leaves your lashes flexible. This mascara leaves you with volume, length, curl and 12+ hours of wear. I love how real Tarte keeps it with the nylon bristle brush. The brush isn’t a thick one so application is a breeze and you get all the way to the base of the lashes.

Nothing too fancy as it is Monday and I seem to suffer from a severe case of the Mondays. My only journey today was to the grocery store. My brows are wild. I like them like that. I’m not a fan of Instagram brows. I’m a naturalist.

This set retails for $34. It is valued at $71. Is it worth it? Yes. Everything is full sized with the exception of the mascara. I’m content with that. Tarte, baby, you did good.
